I gave my first shot today! I went to my preceptor's office and was walking around with him.. seeing his patients, and one of the patients needed a shot! So the doc walks out of the room, and comes back with a needle and straight hands it to me! Holy Shit! He's like, just gather a bunch of skin together and poke her... oh man! I went so slow though, that i think I really hurt her. Oh well.. that's what happens when you get a shot from a first year med school. But she'll always be in my memory as my "first"! :) How romantic..
I also got accepted into the steering committee that I applied for. Yea me! So now I am going to be helping to organize health fairs and all that good stuff.. come by for a free health screening! I promise I won't givce you a shot...
I also spent the entire morning making up a song to remember the branches of the internal iliac artery. Thank God my roommate is not here, because she would straight up think that I was crazy! Oh well.. now I know the branches.. so if you ever want to hear my song, just say the magic words! ;)
