One of the great things about Toastmasters is that there is a person who is always counting how many times you say "um, uh, so..but," etc.. it's fantastic because it really makes you aware of what you're doing while you're talking. I actually am pretty good for the most part. I do have my fair share of "ands" that connect to a billion sentences.. but I am getting better. However! I cannot get over saying "you know"! I feel like such a stupid valley girl. But for some reason I am constantly throwing that phase into my every day talk. I really have to work on that... !
Damn! This post only took me 3 minutes to write.. I need to think of more time killers at work!
